Who is Dr. Juan Esteban Sierra?
He is a Plastic Surgeon from the University of Caldas, Manizales, Colombia.
He did his specialization in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the Plastic Surgery Service of the General Hospital of Bonsucesso in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Here he was formed with one of the most important figures of plastic surgery in the world: Ivo Pitanguy.

I've been a plastic surgeon for 20 years, but my journey truly began when I was just a child.
I vividly remember how art became a part of my life when my mother painted oil paintings.
We spent hours together enjoying this shared passion.
Simultaneously,
my father shared with me his passion for photography,
which involved the use of the bulky film cameras of yesteryear.
During my teenage years,
I learned to play the piano, and it remains a beloved hobby that I enjoy sharing with my family at home.
My passion for art emerged during my childhood, and as I matured and chose to pursue a career in medicine, the vocation to serve others became my life's purpose.
A story that will never end!
In my years of specialized training...
I learned incredible things from Ivo Pitanguy, known today as the "Father of modern plastic surgery".
During 5 years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I learned the most innovative surgical techniques in the world.
Here was born the famous BBL or also called Brazilian Butt Lift, among other techniques that I use daily (and I have perfected and now teach in congresses).
Those were very exciting years and a lot of learning.
My teacher, Ivo, was a semblance to achieve all that I am able to deliver to my patients today.
I simply could not be who I am if it had not been for one of my great mentors.
